Duncan and Eddie - Breeders
Duncan and Eddie are just two dudes living in a garage with genius plans. Daniel Klein is the founder of MeeWee Entertainment (www.meewee.com), a children's production company that recently released a Hip-Hop album for kids. In 2008, the album won a Kids Choice Award for best recording of the year. He graduated from the American Film Institute Conservatory for filmmakers in 2007. That year the short film that he co-wrote, SONG OF DAVID, played at the Cannes Film Festival 'shorts' division. James Eowan is the co-creator, co-writer, and producer of DUNCAN N EDDIE. He recently graduated from the American Film Institute's Screenwriting Program. He has also just completed FRANKIE 13 VS THE WORLD, a short documentary about the world of competitive Rock Paper Scissors and the young man who tries to go all the way to the RPS Championship in Toronto. Kimby Caplan- CINEMATOGRAPHER Caplan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado where she made half a dozen award winning experimental 16mm films. After a skiing hiatus where she pursued her level 3 certification as a ski instructor, she moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue a masters degree in Film Production at Southern Methodist University. Her thesis film LISTEN, a personal documentary about what it means to be Deaf, received First place at the Black Maria Film Festival, a Silver Remi Award from the Houston Worldfest Film Festival, A 2005 Student Academy Award and was qualified to be nominated for an Academy Award. Shortly after this, Caplan attended the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, graduating with an MFA in Cinematography, 2007. Her thesis film, as director of photography, Song of David, has been featured in film festivals internationally and recently won Best Student Film at the USA Film Festival. She has 2 other 35mm shorts in post, 1 Super 16mm film in pre-production, as well as several HD projects. After returning from Europe, operating for the reality TV Show BAND WITHOUT BORDERS, she spends her spare time shooting behind the scenes for Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords
