Ahhh Barbie. Never had one. Karl Lagerfeld whips out his fashion wand and sprinkles some magic dust on to Barbie to celebrate her 50th anniversary. Fiftieth?! My god, she's old! If only The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lasted that long. I mean sure yeah GI Joe's lasted a while but Ehhh. Transformers! Now We're talking! I'm wondering if Karl Lagerfeld would be alive for their 50th Anniversary where he sports some Mecha Fashion with Autobots and Decepticon logos strewn about.
The pictures are actually a little creepy. At first I thought the guy was a doll but nope! He just has a very plastic complexion. Models! Pffft.
"To celebrate Barbie's 50-year anniversary, Chanel's own Karl Lagerfeld designed a Barbie/Ken exhibit for Colette in Paris. The exhibit will be visible in Colette store windows from March 9-15th, including a "high security exhibition" of the first-ever Barbie and Ken dolls on the 12th."
