For a long time most people who follow such things have been under the impression that Mr. Oizo was in fact Quentin Dupieux. But as this clip reveals, Mr. Oizo is, in fact, a middle age woman living in California in the 70s. I was skeptical, but after watching her work her magic in the studio, there is really no doubt in my mind that it's her.
Quentin Dupieux on the other hand released a film called Steak
a little while back about a gang of hooligans who give themselves face lifts. The fact that I can't get my hands on a copy of this film with English subtitles keeps me awake at night.
No word on why there is no Flat Eric in this clip, I miss that little guy.
