Washed Out - Belong

The Los Angeles band Washed Out are the most 80's thing I've seen come out in the 00's and that says a lot considering how much bad hair and neon we've seen show-up in fashion, music and design this year. Why can't people leave "the Ronald Reagan era" alone and move on to way cooler times like "the Bush years"?
