This is amazing! This is a short film by Johnny Kelly called "The Seed". Sure we've seen nature cycles before but this one takes the cake! It's all stop motion with 2D animation layered on it! The way the tree grows and when the apple splits apart?! It's awesome! It's wonderfully done and the cute papercraft and animation really does me in. Once again--Jealous!!!
“The Seed” is a short film made by Johnny Kelly about nature’s life cycle. He used a mixture of stop motion papercraft and 2D drawn animation. It was commissioned by Adobe to promote their Creative Suite 4. On the Adobe Artists website, you can see the work of Nando Costa, work by Genevieve Gauckler & Erik Natzke and Cisma will be added later this month.
