Amy Bennett: Diorama-like Oil Paintings

Portland born, Amy Bennett's paintings are amazing. From far away I thought that they were miniature models of villages but they're actually oil paintings. Maybe it's just me but it appears that Chunnel members have a slight attraction to miniature things or aerial views like that of Keith Loutit and Cityshrinker. Or maybe we just have a fantasy of just soaring through the skies. That's what Amy Bennet's oil paintings do to us. She makes us wanna fly!
